When I thought about it, I felt like it was going to be such a hassle and I would feel bad asking someone to make a long drive for me. Thankfully my cousin told me there were companies that actually transport cars so I searched around my area for transportation service and found Pheonix Auto Shipping. I was hoping the workers wouldn't be awkward and I was very happy once I met them. Through yelp reviews, he found a few companies and requested quotes. The quote he got from USA Auto Transport was not the lowest, but it was the one that made him the most comfortable. He signed the contract online and made a full payment with his credit card. The car was picked up within the agreed time window, and delivered within the agreed time window. The driver called one day before pick-up, 30 minutes before pick up, one day before delivery, and 30 minutes before delivery. The whole process turned out to be very smooth. Everyone involved from USA Auto Transport was very professional. You will know when your car will be picked up or delivered 1 hours ahead. Throughout the process, they didn't tell me when there were delays. Every time I called they told me car will be delivered "today" or "tomorrow". Finally on the delivery date, which is about 10 days later than their estimate, an unknown number called me out of blue saying my car was outside. I ran down and saw a guy standing next to my car. I asked for bill of lading to sign but the driver doesn't have it. There was a big scratch/dent on the wheel rims which were not there before. But I was not given the bill of lading to report the damage. I complained my damages through email and phone calls to USA Auto Transport. They said they will report to insurance company and asked for before/after pictures. They later on send me their copy of bill of lading (without my signature of course, PDF version) with multiple damages noted as "pick up damages". Note this is after I told them what was damaged (wheel rims). The attached PDF version of bill of lading also had a link to a third party website (superdispatch.com), the link shows my online BOL report which also has a picture to show pickup damages. The two pictures are DIFFERENT. The only differences are on the wheel rims. So they sent me a PDF report with many added damages that I already reported and was going to claim the damages were already there when the car was picked up. But they forgot to remove the link in the report which leads me to the actual online report. This is not ethical. I don't think what they did is even legal. read less

This was my first time shipping a car so I don't have much reference. There were a couple hiccups, but overall I think the service and the company is very good.

The initial call to schedule the shipment went smoothly, they sent me the paperwork right away. They gave me a 3-day window for when they would pick it up. When the time came they called and let me know what day they would pick it up. Dispatch gave me a time frame 12pm-4pm and they gave me the driver's phone number. The driver did not make it until around 9pm. They could not pick up the car on my street because the truck was so large so I brought it out to them on another street. When they came they took note of any marks on the car, even the tiniest mark. They put the car on the truck and they delivered it about 5-6 days later. They could not deliver to my new address because the streets are too small so I had them deliver it to a friend's home. The driver called regularly to update me on the time when he would arrive. I really appreciated that. The car was in perfect condition and I was happy.

My advice for smooth shipping:
1. Have a plan A and B for shipping addresses. The trucks are large and need room to maneuver.
2. The drivers often do not know exactly when they will pick up or drop off the car so, you need some flexibility on that too. For instance, they told me pick will be between by 4, but they did not arrive until 9 pm.

Overall, I thought the driver, the customer service agents and the service were very good. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use this service again if I need to move again. read less

We did our research and came across this company who had pretty good rates, and decided to use this company. I was pretty picky, bc I've seen on the freeways on how cars were moved and seen car bumpers being scraped on the streets as their moved... not a pretty sight.

I called this company and they were very helpful. And tbh it did help my confidence in my decision to stick with them. I addressed my concerns and they assured me. They even had addressed concerns I haven't even thought about!

Last year my boyfriend, whose a total rock n roll vintage car freak, and I were at a car show in Vegas and he found this incredible little vintage orange Chevy Corvette, which was for sale by a friend of a friend named Mike in the vintage car community. Mike sold my boyfriend Josh the car for a great deal and we were really stoked on the purchase but we live all the way in California so getting it home was another challenge. But hiring Las Vegas Auto Transport really simplified the hassle of transporting our new baby 429 miles, and they even insured that the orange dream made it back in one piece and in pristine condition. That gave us piece of mind, like for real. We contacted them while we were still in Vegas, and LVAT was super responsive and fast as hell with their services, so we were able to set up everything and go back to enjoying our vacation before heading back home ourselves. I'm kind of like a research queen so I made sure to shop around and get quotes and compare a few transport services before going ahead with LVAT because their customer service was the most sincere and their pricing was also the most reasonable considering the distance. I also have to know all the damn details before committing to a service so that I don't A: get screwed and B: I can feel satisfied with my decision, so they were really adherent to my peace of mind and they sent us pictures of all the transport tools and mechanism things before we agreed on anything and just that aspect alone was really comforting and out of the ordinary to me. The guy who picked up our vehicle AT OUR HOME ran into some mechanical problems that morning so he had to pick it up a day later than estimated but, honestly, their professionalism and quick notification was amazing. They worked with us to ensure prompt pick up the next day.
They quoted 6-9 days to deliver and they got me my vehicle in 5 days!! Also dropped off in my driveway!!

If timing is important, do not trust a word anyone at this organization says. Working with them is a truly infuriating experience. My mistake was expecting the driver to follow through with the Salesman's promises. To find out why you should avoid this company, keep reading. In my case, timing was really important because my wife and I were driving a long distance to pick up a used vehicle. We worked for days to coordinate an agreed upon meeting time of Tuesday afternoon and drove for hours to meet the auto shipping driver. Within 2 hours of the agreed upon window, the driver calls to say he is still 5 hours away, cancels the pickup, and changes the pickup date to the following day. For whatever reason, the company thought it was a good idea to have an upset auto shipping driver contact me with a last minute cancellation. I contacted the initial Salesman and he apologized for the unexpected delay but offered no other option, and our only choice was to drive back home for hours with the expectation of pickup and delivery the next day. Fortunately, the seller of the vehicle, who is an 86 year old disabled senior citizen, was willing to stay at his house and meet with the auto shipping driver on Wednesday. It's now Wednesday evening and the vehicle has still NOT been picked up. EVEN MORE DISTURBING is the fact that this company had the nerve to tell me on two separate occasions that the vehicle was picked up, when in fact, it was NOT picked up. Someone, or perhaps several people, think it is an acceptable business practice to straight up lie to customers. I was billed in advance AND the vehicle is still at the seller's home! No one can reach the driver. No one has provided me with answers. The vehicle's seller, an 86 year old disabled senior citizen, has now been unnecessarily inconvenienced for at least two additional days due to San Diego Auto Shipping's failure to coordinate. To say this company is disingenuous would be an understatement. My advice to the reader is, spend your dollars with a different company. read less

The destination was roughly 1,500 miles and I was told my car would be delivered in three days. I got a call Monday morning alerting me of the pick-up, and was called every day after to alert me of the progress of the delivery truck. I loved how well communication was kept between Houston Auto Shipping and me. They made me feel comfortable with the whole delivery, and were honest and truthful to their word which is hard to come by in transportation companies nowadays. 5 stars well deserved! read less
